Paneer Stuffed Paratha |
1. Prepare the dough:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the wheat flour and salt.
- Add water gradually and knead the mixture to make a smooth, soft dough.
- Optional: Add a tablespoon of oil for extra softness. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep aside for about 20-30 minutes.
2. **Prepare the stuffing:
- In another bowl, add grated paneer, green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt.
- Mix all the ingredients well. Taste and add seasoning if needed.
3. Roll out the parathas:
- Divide the dough into equal portions (about 6-8 balls).
- Similarly, divide the paneer filling into portions according to the number of balls.
- Take a ball of dough, flatten it slightly, and place a portion of the filling in the center.
- Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to seal it completely.
- Gently flatten the filled dough and roll it into a circle (about 6-8 inches in diameter), taking care that the filling does not fall out.
4. Cook the Paratha:
- Heat a tawa or skillet on medium flame.
- Once hot, place the rolled paratha on it and cook for about 30-40 seconds until bubbles appear.
- Flip it and apply some ghee or oil on top. Cook for another 30 seconds.
- Flip again and press gently with a spatula, adding more ghee or oil if desired. Cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy.
- Repeat the same process with the remaining dough and filling.
5. Serve:
- Serve the paneer parathas hot with curd, pickle, or chutney.
Enjoy your delicious paneer parathas!
