- Now add cardamom powder and saffron to the milk and mix. Stir it for 5-5 minutes.

- Now, when the milk is reduced to half, add sugar, cashews, almonds, and pistachios and mix all the ingredients well. It takes at least 40-45 minutes for the milk to cook completely.

- When the milk is reduced to half, turn off the gas. Your basundi is ready. Now take out the basundi in a serving bowl and garnish it with cashews, almonds, and pistachios. If you want, you can also add saffron for garnishing.

Note:

- You can serve it cold or hot as per your choice.

- Cooking the milk on a low flame will give it more cream. Which tastes good.

- You can also use yellow food coloring in it. Or you can also use milk masala, which is easily available in the market.

- You can make it on festivals like Diwali, Janmashtami, Navratri, or Raksha Bandhan.
