Rice Kheer | Kheer Recipe | Rice Kheer | Janmashtami Special Rice Kheer | Today, we have brought for you Janmashtami Special Rice Kheer Recipe. It is very easy to make. You can also make it as a prasad. So let's know the complete method of making Rice Kheer.


Ingredients:

1-litre full fat milk

1/2 cup basmati rice/sona masuri rice

1/2 cup sugar

2 tbsp chopped cashews

2 tbsp chopped almonds

2 tbsp chopped pistachios

1 tbsp raisins

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

1/2 tsp saffron

Instructions:

- First of all, wash 1/2 cup of rice thoroughly and soak it in water for half an hour.

- Now, take an iron kadai or a thick-bottom pan and keep it for heating. Add 2 tbsp water to it and boil it, then add milk to it. Let the milk boil once. Now, take 2 tablespoons of milk in a small bowl and soak saffron in it.

- Now, if the rice has been soaked for half an hour, drain the excess water. And add it to the milk while boiling. Let it cook for at least 30 minutes on medium flame.

- After 30 minutes, check if the rice is cooked well or not. Then add half a cup of sugar and mix it. Now add saffron soaked milk and add all the dry fruits (cashews, almonds, pistachios and raisins) and mix well and let it cook for 5-6 minutes. Then turn off the gas. 

- Finally, your Bhog Special Rice Kheer is ready to serve.

- If you want, you can also serve it hot. If you like cold kheer, then cool it in the fridge and serve.
