Ingredients

3 scoops vanilla ice cream

1/2 cup whole milk

Instructions


1. Chill your glass — Place your serving glass in the freezer 5–10 minutes before serving.

2. Break the cookies — Break the sugar cookies into rough chunks. If you are using soft/frosted cookies, they will blend in easily. If you are using crisp cookies, it helps to give them a quick pulse in the blender before adding the rest of the ingredients.

3. Blend — First, pour the milk into the blender; then add the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, salt, cookie pieces, and ice cream.

4. Mix — Blend on medium speed for 30–45 seconds, until the mixture is smooth and creamy. To retain a slightly textured (granular) consistency in the cookies, pulse the mixture a few times rather than blending it completely smooth.

5. Check the consistency—the cookies will naturally thicken the shake on their own. If necessary, add a little more milk to thin it out slightly.

6. Serve—pour into a chilled glass, top with whipped cream and a scattering of sprinkles, and garnish the rim of the glass with a whole sugar cookie. Serve immediately.
