Kokum Chutney | Healthy Kokum Chutney | Kokum Chutney | Kokum is a fruit that is mostly used in our Ayurveda. Its consumption reduces body heat and prevents dehydration. Kokum is a dried Indian blackberry-like fruit that tastes sour. It is mostly found in Western India, Goa, and Maharashtra. It is used to add to juices, chutney, or curry. That's why today we have brought you the recipe of Kokum Chutney. Which you can eat with Sev Puri, Bhel Puri, Kachori, Samosa, Roti, or Rice. So, let's know how to make Kokum Chutney.


Ingredients:

1 cup Kokum (without seeds)

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

Salt to taste

2 green chillies

2 tbsp grated coconut

1 tbsp jaggery powder

Water as required


 Healthy And Tasty Kokum Chutney 


Instructions:

1. First of all, remove the seeds of Kokum and soak them in 2 cups of hot water for 30 minutes.

2. After half an hour, drain the excess water from the Kokum. Take a mixer jar and add soaked kokum, cumin seeds, green chillies, grated coconut, jaggery powder, and salt as per taste and make a fine paste.

3. Change the consistency of the chutney as per your choice. You can also make it thicker by adding some water.

4. There you go, your kokum chutney is ready. You can eat it with vada pav, samosa, and kachori.
