Every Indian dish is unique. The taste and method of preparation of every dish is different. Today we have brought one such recipe for you - Dahi Tadka. The day your favorite vegetable is not cooked at home or you feel like eating something spicy, then you can try Dahi Tadka recipe. This Dahi Tadka recipe made in summer season has many other benefits. Like, Dahi Tadka recipe improves our digestive system and keeps the stomach cool. Which we can enjoy with roti naan paratha or rice. So let's know the method of making it without wasting time.
Ingredients
- 2 cups curd
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ghee
- 10 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
- Pinch of asafoetida
- 2 dried red chillies
- A few curry leaves
- ¼ teaspoon cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons coriander leaves, finely chopped

Instructions
1. Firstly, take 2 cups curd and ½ teaspoon (to taste) salt in a large bowl. Whisk and mix well, making sure the curd turns into a smooth texture. Now keep it aside.
2. Heat 2 tablespoons ghee in a pan and fry 10 garlic cloves till they turn golden brown.
3. Next, add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon mustard seeds, a pinch of asafoetida, 2 dried red chilies and a few curry leaves. Make sure to keep the tempering on medium flame.
4. Turn off the flame and add ¼ teaspoon cumin powder, ½ teaspoon coriander powder, ½ teaspoon turmeric and 1 teaspoon chili powder. Saute till the spices turn aromatic.
5. Add the tempering to the curd and mix well. Also, add 2 teaspoons coriander leaves and mix everything well.
6. Finally, enjoy the curd tempering with roti or paratha.
Note:
You can also make a paste of garlic and red chili and add it. This will enhance its taste even more.
Serve it with hot rice.
You can also eat paratha or naan with it instead of roti.
