 Homemade Banana Murabba Recipe

Instructions:

Peel the bananas and cut them into thick chunks or slices.

Combine the sugar and water in a heavy-bottomed pan. Cook until it comes to a boil to form a syrup.

Add the banana pieces to the syrup. Cook over medium heat, stirring gently, until the bananas become soft and translucent (approximately 15-20 minutes).

Skim off any foam that rises to the surface.

Add the cardamom powder, lemon juice, saffron strands, and cloves. Mix well.

Continue cooking over low heat until the syrup reaches a one-string consistency and the bananas are thoroughly coated in the syrup.

Remove from heat. Allow it to cool completely.

Store in clean, sterilized jars. Refrigerate to keep it fresh for a longer duration.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve the Banana Preserve as a sweet side dish alongside parathas or rotis, or enjoy it on its own as a dessert.
