Instructions:

- First of all, take a thick-bottomed vessel. Add 1 litre of full-fat milk. Now boil it on high flame.

- When it boils, take out 250 ml of milk from it. Keep it aside.

- Cook the remaining milk on a medium flame till it remains half.

- Keep stirring it continuously with a ladle. Keep removing the milk stuck on the sides as well. This will make it taste good. It takes at least 30-40 minutes for the milk to reduce to half.

- Now, when the milk is cooked and reduced to half, add the drained 250 ml milk and sugar in a bowl and mix well, and let it boil for 2 minutes. Once the sugar has melted, turn off the gas.

- Now keep it aside to cool for 20-25 minutes. After 25 minutes, you will see that it has become very thick. Keep in mind that it should be lukewarm so that it can be mashed well.

- Now add cardamom powder and ghee to this paste and mash it well. Keep mashing it till it becomes a soft dough. When it becomes soft, make small balls of it and separate them. Now give it the shape of your choice. Be it round or flat.

- After shaping, decorate it by adding dry fruits as per your choice. There you go, your milk pedas are ready. You can keep them in an airtight container for 1 week.
