Shahi Paneer | Shahi Paneer Recipe | Wedding Shahi Paneer | Restaurant Style Shahi Paneer | Dhaba Style Shahi Paneer | Paneer is such a thing from which both veg and non-veg dishes can be made. All kinds of dishes are made in weddings, but one or the other dish is definitely of (Shahi Paneer Recipe) paneer. Be it a restaurant or a dhaba, we definitely order at least one dish of paneer. So today we have brought for you a special royal recipe (Shahi Paneer Recipe) of paneer made during the time of the Mughals, which is known as Shahi Paneer. To make it, tomato and kajju gravy is made and paneer (Shahi Paneer Recipe) is added to it and it is garnished with cream. Which you can eat with rice, naan, tandoor roti, or kulcha. So, let's know the method of making this Shahi Paneer recipe.


Ingredients:

2 cups fresh paneer

1/4 cup fresh cream

1-2 fresh tomato

1 medium sized onion 

2-3 green chillies

1 inch ginger

7-8 garlic cloves

9-10 cashews

2 whole dry Kashmiri red chilies

1/2 shahi jeera

1 cinnamon stick

2-3 small cardamoms

1 black cardamom

1 bay leaf

2-3 cloves

4-5 tbsp

1 tsp coriander seeds

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder

1/2 tsp roasted Dhaniya jeera powder

1/4 tsp garam masala

salt to taste

2-3 tbsp ghee/oil

2-3 tbsp coriander leaves for garnishing

 

For Tempering:

2-3 tbsp ghee

1/2 tsp red chili powder


Restaurant & Dhaba Style Shahi Paneer


Instructions:

- First of all, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan. Now add cumin seeds, cinnamon, bay leaves, cloves, black pepper, cardamom, and big cardamom and fry lightly. Now add onion, garlic, and ginger and fry well.

- When the onion becomes light golden brown, add chopped tomatoes or whole dry Kashmiri red chilies and let it cook for 2 minutes. Now add turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt as per taste and mix well. Now add cashews and mix everything well. Now turn off the gas. Now let all these things cool down.

- Now, when all these things cool down, put it in a mixer jar and grind it finely. Now filter this paste through a sieve; this will make the gravy very smooth.

- Now add 2-3 tablespoons of ghee to the same pan and heat it. You can also use a little butter if you want. Now add 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder to it. Now add smooth gravy and mix well. Now let it cool on a low flame for 2 minutes till the oil separates.

- Now, when the oil starts separating, add paneer to it and let it cook for 5 minutes. Now turn off the gas. Garnish with green coriander and fresh cream.

- There you go, your Shahi Paneer recipe is ready. You can eat it with tandoor roti, naan, kulcha or rice. You can make this recipe for lunch or dinner.
