Onion Paratha | Kande ka Paratha | Pyaz Paratha. Many times in the morning, it happens that there are no special items in the house, only basic things are there. Like onions, people think that what breakfast can be made from it. So for that today I have brought a very tasty recipe of Onion Paratha. I will tell you all that a very tasty breakfast can be made from onions, too. If you make Onion Paratha in this manner, then everyone will like it very much. So, let's know how to make Onion Paratha.


Ingredients

For the dough:

2 cups wheat flour

¼ tsp salt

1 tsp oil

1 cup water, or as needed


For the stuffing:

1 tsp oil

1 cup onion, finely chopped

½ tsp ginger-garlic paste

½ tsp Kashmiri red chili powder

2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped

½ tsp turmeric powder

¼ tsp cumin powder

Salt, to taste

¼ tsp garam masala

¼ tsp ajwain

Instructions:

- First, mix 2 cups of wheat flour, ¼ tsp salt, and 1 tsp oil in a bowl. Add ½ cup water and start kneading the dough. Knead to form a smooth and soft dough.

- Then, cover with a damp cloth and keep aside for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add 1 cup finely chopped onion and sauté for a few minutes. Now add half a teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste and fry till the onion turns light brown.

- Now add half a teaspoon of chili powder, half a teaspoon of turmeric powder, a quarter teaspoon of cumin powder, a quarter teaspoon of garam masala, salt to taste, and 2 tablespoons of coriander leaves. Now turn off the gas.

- Mix all the ingredients well, and the filling for the onion paratha is ready. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes, then knead the dough a little.

- Take a ball-sized dough, roll it, and flatten it. Sprinkle some wheat flour. Then roll it into a circle of about 5 to 6 inches in diameter. Place 2 tablespoons of prepared onion filling in the center. Fold from the edge and bring it to the center.

- Then join the folds together and close it tightly. Sprinkle some atta and roll it into the shape of a chapati.

- Place the rolled paratha on a hot tawa and cook for 1-2 minutes on both sides till golden brown. Apply oil/ghee on it and press lightly. Flip once or twice till both sides are cooked well.

- Finally, serve hot Pyaaz ka Paratha Recipe / Pyaaz ka Paratha Recipe with Raita or pickle.
