Ingredients:

1 cup gram flour

1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped

1 medium-sized tomato, finely chopped

1 medium-sized capsicum, finely chopped

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/4 tsp red chili powder

A pinch of black salt

1/2 tsp salt

5-6 tbsp oil for frying

Water as required

Instructions:

- First of all, take 1 cup gram flour in a bowl. Now add black salt or white salt as per your taste and mix it. Add water as required and make a thick paste.

- Now add chopped vegetables like onion, tomato, capsicum and mix. Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder and coriander leaves and mix well. If the paste has become thick, you can thicken it by adding some water.

- Now take a non-stick pan and heat it on a medium flame. When the pan is hot, add half a tablespoon of oil/ghee and spread it. Now, take a medium-sized, rounded spoon and pour the gram flour paste on the pan. Spread it well. Lower the flame.

- Now cook it on one side till it becomes light brown (at least 30 seconds). Then flip it with a spoon. Cook on the other side till it becomes light brown (at least 30 seconds). Now take it out in a plate.

- Now your gram flour chilli is ready. Serve it hot. Serve it with green chutney or garlic chutney. You can also eat it with curd if you want.


Note:

- You can enhance its taste by adding semolina or vegetables of your choice.

- If you want, you can also add chaat masala to it.

- You can also serve it by grating paneer or cheese on a chilli pan. Serve it with tomato ketchup.
