Mint Chutney Recipe: Mint chutney is a popular chutney. It is most commonly served with starters and snacks. If the chutney is served with food, its taste doubles. Be it North India or South India, mint chutney is eaten with great fervor. If the chutney is served with dal, rice, pulao, or khichdi, the taste of the food increases. You can make mint chutney in 15-20 minutes. To make mint chutney, you can prepare it instantly by mixing mint, cumin, onion, garlic, and curd. If you like spicy food, then you can increase the number of green chillies in the chutney according to your taste. To bring sweet and sour taste in it, you can add lemon juice or sugar as per taste. So, let's know the method of making it.
Ingredients:
- Half a cup of mint leaves
- 1 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 chopped green chillies
- 1/4-inch piece of ginger
- 1 tsp sugar (optional)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp water
- salt to taste

Ingredients:
- Put garlic, chillies, ginger, sugar and salt in a small mixer jar. Grind them coarsely.
- Add coriander leaves, mint leaves, lemon juice and 1 tbsp water.
- Grind them again till they become fine (fine or coarse, as per your choice). Delicious mint chutney for sandwiches is ready.
- Serve it with dhokla. You can store it in a container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
Note:
- To make chutney for bhel puri, tikki, vada pav, or samosa, add 3 tbsp water.
- To make mint chutney for pakoras or sandwiches, add 2 tbsp of curd.
- To make mint chutney for dosa, first add half a cup of freshly grated coconut.
- Restaurant-style mint chutney uses onions. You can skip it if you want.
- To make traditional chutney and get the best taste, use a mortar and pestle instead of a mixer.
- Serve it with chat, samosas, or khaman dhokla. Many Indian snacks can be made from this, or it can be served with lunch or dinner.
