Bhel Puri is a popular and delicious snack in India. It is a delicious chaat which is sweet and spicy in taste. It uses puffed rice, sev, papdi, some vegetables like tomatoes, onions, potatoes, and many types of chutney. It is also a very quick and easy recipe to make. It is so popular that you will find someone selling Bhel Puri in every street of the city. Apart from this, you can prepare the bhel mixture and store it. If you already have all the chutney ready, you can prepare it quickly with boiled potatoes. Everyone in the family will love this Bhel Puri, and they will enjoy it.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups puffed rice
- Half an onion, finely chopped
- Half a potato, boiled and chopped into small pieces
- 4-5 papdi
- 2 tbsp roasted peanuts
- 2 tbsp tomatoes, finely chopped
- Salt, to taste
- 3 tbsp tamarind chutney
- 2 tbsp green chutney
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp nylon sev (packet)
- 2 tbsp aloo sev (packet)
- 2 tbsp chana dal (packet)
- 1 tsp coriander leaves, finely chopped

Instructions:
- Firstly, take 2 cups of puffed rice in a large bowl. If they are not crispy, dry roast the puffed rice.
- To roast the puffed rice, heat 2 tbsp oil in a large pan and add puffed rice dal. Then add salt to taste and a pinch of turmeric powder. Keep stirring the puffed rice so that they do not burn. Once the puffed rice is roasted, take them out in a large bowl.
- Now add half onion, half potato, tomato, papdi, chana dal, nylon sev, aloo sev or 2 tbsp roasted peanuts. Add salt as per taste. Now mix all these well.
- After this add 3 tbsp tamarind chutney, 2 tbsp green chutney and 1 tsp lemon juice. Now mix well and take care that the puffed rice does not become soft.
- Finally, enjoy it by adding some broken papdi to the bhel puri and garnishing it with green coriander.
Note:
- Some time before serving the bhel puri, add green chutney, tamarind chutney, and lemon juice so that the puffed rice does not become soft.
- You can use vegetables and farsan of your choice. You can also add tomato ketchup to it if you want.
- If you like spicy bhel puri, then you can add red chili powder or finely chopped green chilies to it. Keep its quantity balanced so that the taste of bhel puri does not become spicy.
