Khajoor ki Chutney | Khajoor Chutney | Khajoor Chutney Recipe | How To Make Khajoor Chutney | Till date you must have eaten chutneys like mint chutney, coconut chutney or tamarind chutney. So today we have brought for you a very different and spicy recipe of Khajoor ki Chutney. Which is very easy to make and also very delicious to eat. This chutney is made by mixing dates, tamarind or jaggery. You can store it for more than 1 month. You can eat it with Dahi Bhalla or Aloo Tikki. So let's know how to make it (Khajoor ki Chutney).


Ingredients:

1 cup dates (seedless)

1/2 cup tamarind (seedless)

1/2 cup jaggery

1 inch ginger

1 green chilli

Salt to taste

1/2 tsp red chili powder

1/4 tsp chaat masala

Water as required

Instructions:

- First of all, soak dates and tamarind in 2-3 cups of hot water in a bowl and keep it for 1 hour.

- Now, after 1 hour, drain the excess water. Put dates and tamarind in a mixer jar and make a fine paste. Add ginger and green chillies and grind.

- Now heat a pan. Now add dates and tamarind paste in it. Now let it boil. After this add jaggery to it and mix well. Now let it cook on a low flame till the jaggery melts.

- Now stir it with a spoon, when the jaggery melts, add chili powder, chaat masala and salt as per taste and mix well. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes.

- Now turn off the gas. There you go, your date chutney is ready. You can eat it with roti or rice in lunch or dinner.

- When the chutney cools down completely, take it out in a container and keep it in the fridge.
