Ingredients:
1 ½ cup rice (soaked)
½ cup urad dal (soaked)
1 tsp fenugreek seeds (soaked)
½ cup poha (soaked)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp black pepper powder
2-3 tsp oil
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions:
First of all, wash the rice and urad dal thoroughly with clean water. Now add water and fenugreek seeds to it and soak it for 7-8 hours.
Now wash the poha in a bowl and soak it for 10 minutes.
Remove excess water from the rice and dal soaked for 7-8 hours. Put it in the grinder. Now prepare its coarse paste.
Now add poha to it and grind it. Now take out this solution in a big vessel and mix it well. Stir it well and leave it to ferment for 10 hours.
This batter will ferment well in 10 hours. Stir it once with a spoon. Now add ginger-garlic paste and sugar and mix.

Now add 2 tablespoons of oil, salt as per taste and baking soda and mix everything well.
Now put water to boil in a vessel. Now take a plate and grease it well with oil. Now pour the batter in it and spread it. Apply a thin layer of batter.
Now add black pepper powder to it and cook on high flame for 10-12 minutes.
When the idada cools down, cut it into diamond shapes. Now remove the coriander leaves and garnish.
Finally our white Surti street style idada is ready. Now place the idada in a serving plate and serve green chutney with it.
If you want, you can serve it in a serving plate and sprinkle red chilli powder and raw cooking oil on it. It is very tasty to eat.
