It is made with the help of coriander leaves and some spices. You can make this recipe as a side dish for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Let's learn the complete method of making Kothimbir Vadi.
Ingredients:
250 grams of coriander leaves
2-3 tablespoons freshly grated coconut
2-3 green chillies
3-4 garlic cloves
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
¼ cup rice flour`
½ cup gram flour
Water as required

Instructions:
First, wash the coriander leaves with clean water and chop them roughly.
Now grind coconut, cumin, turmeric powder, salt, green chillies, and garlic cloves in a small mixer jar and prepare a fine paste.
Now boil 1½ cups of water in a pan. Now add the prepared paste to it and stir. After this, add gram flour, rice flour, and green coriander and keep stirring continuously.
Now cook it till it becomes like a dough.
Now apply oil on a plate and grease it. Now put this dough in it and spread it with the help of a ladle. Also, sprinkle sesame seeds on it.
Now cook it in a steamer for 10-12 minutes. Then turn off the gas and let it cool down. Then cut it in the shape of your choice.
Now, heat oil in a pan. Now, deep fry the cut Kothimbir Vadi. Fry till it becomes golden brown.
Now take it out on a paper and serve it hot.
Finally, Kothimbir Vadi is ready. It can be served with tomato ketchup.
