Besan Mirchi | Besan Wali Shimla Mirch | How to Make Besan Mirchi | Mirch Ki Sabji | Shimla Mirch ki Sabji | As soon as the rainy season arrives, the demand for food for the family increases a lot. Which you can make and eat anytime in breakfast, lunch or dinner. It (Besan Wali Shimla Mirch) takes only 10-12 minutes to make this vegetable. It is as tasty as it is healthy. So let's know the complete recipe of making Besan Wali Shimla Mirch.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup gram flour
2-3 medium-sized capsicum, chopped
1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
A pinch of asafoetida
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
Salt to taste
2-3 tbsp water
Coriander leaves for garnishing
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
2-3 tbsp oil

Instructions:
First of all, heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Now add gram flour and fry it lightly. Cook it till it becomes golden brown. Now keep the roasted gram flour aside.
Now heat 2 tbsp oil in the same pan. Now add cumin seeds and fennel seeds and let them crackle. Now add asafoetida and fry it.
After this, add onion and fry till it becomes transparent.
After the onions become translucent, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt as per taste and cook for 2 minutes.
Now when all the spices are roasted, add gram flour and mix and cover and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
When everything is cooked, sprinkle 2-3 tbsp of water in it. And mix again so that the gram flour gets cooked well.
Now finally add green coriander and half a tbsp of lemon juice and mix and serve with hot parathas.
