Ingredients:

1 liter full-fat milk

2 tbsp water

150 grams sugar

1/4 tsp cornflour

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

1/4 cup dry fruits (cashews, almonds, pistachios, raisins)

7-8 strands of saffron

1-2 tbsp ghee

Instructions:

First of all, heat a thick bottom pan. Add 2 tbsp water to it and heat it. After this, add 1 liter milk and let it boil.

Now add 1/4 teaspoon cornflour and 1 tablespoon hot milk in a bowl and mix it well or add it to the boiling milk on low flame and keep stirring continuously.

Now boil it well on medium flame for at least 15-20 minutes. Cook till the milk is reduced to half.

After at least 20 minutes, when the color of the milk changes and it starts leaving the pan, add cardamom powder, saffron strands and sugar to it and mix well.

Now spread ghee well in a plate. After this, when the prepared mixture cools down, take it out in a plate. Now decorate it by adding dry fruits of your choice. Keep it in the fridge for half an hour.

If you want, you can also keep it at room temperature for 2-3 hours.
