Ingredients:
For Patwadi:
1 cup gram flour
1 tbsp oil + for greasing
1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
2-3 green chillies
3-4 garlic cloves
1/2-inch ginger
A handful of coriander leaves
2 tsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp sesame seeds
Freshly grated coconut
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
1 cup water
Freshly chopped coriander leaves
For Rassa:
2-3 tbsp oil
2 medium-sized onions chopped
2 medium-sized tomatoes chopped
1/4 cup dry shredded coconut
2-3 whole dry Kashmiri red chillies
2 bay leaves
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
A pinch of asafoetida
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala Spices
Salt to taste
Water as per the requirement
Freshly chopped coriander leaves

Instructions:
To make Patwadi:
First of all, put green chilies, coriander seeds, garlic, ginger and coriander leaves in a mixer jar and grind them to make a paste.
After this, heat oil in a pan. Now add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them crackle.
Now add onion and fry till it becomes light brown. When the onion is lightly fried, add the paste ground in the mixer and mix well and let it cook for 2 minutes.
Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt as per taste and mix. Also add one cup water and boil it.
Now add gram flour and keep stirring continuously so that lumps do not form in it. Cook it till it starts leaving the pan. Finally add green coriander and mix.
Now grease a plate with oil and put the Patwadi mixture on it. Also sprinkle sesame seeds and freshly grated coconut, then spread it on the entire plate with the help of a spoon or ladle and shape it as per your choice. Here we will cut the patwadi in diamond shape. Just like kaju katli.
Finally, besan ki patwadi is ready. Now let's prepare the gravy.
To make the Rassa:
First of all, heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add chopped onion and dry coconut and fry lightly.
After this, let the onion and coconut cool down and put it in a mixer jar. Now add tomatoes and dry whole Kashmiri red chillies and make a fine puree.
Now heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Now add bay leaves and asafoetida and fry it.
Now add the prepared puree to it, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
After 2-3 minutes, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, Kashmiri red chilli powder and mix well. Cover and let it cook for 5 minutes.
When the oil starts separating from the masala, add water of your choice and let it boil. Also, do not forget to add salt as per taste.
Finally, add coriander leaves and turn off the gas.
Finally, the Patwadi gravy is ready.
Note:
Now take a serving bowl. Add gravy and add patwadi pieces and serve with roti or paratha. Serve raita with it.
