Which are known as Uradache Vada in Maharashtra. In Maharashtra, it is specially made to offer to ancestors during Shradh. It is very easy to make. So let's know the complete recipe of delicious and mouth-watering urad dal pakodas / vadas.
Ingredients:
2 cups urad dal
4-5 garlic cloves
2-3 green chillies
1 inch piece of ginger
Green coriander leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
Salt as per taste
Water as per requirement
Oil for frying

Instructions:
First of all, wash the urad dal with clean water and soak it overnight. If you want to make it for breakfast, then soak it overnight or if you want to make it for lunch/dinner, then you can also soak it for 2-3 hours.
Now add green chilies, garlic and ginger in a mixer jar. Drain the excess water of the soaked dal and add it to it. And make a fine paste of it without adding water.
Now take out this paste in a bowl. Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and salt as per taste and mix it. Also add chopped coriander leaves and mix everything well.
Now heat oil in a pan to fry the pakodas.
When the oil is well heated, reduce the flame of the gas to medium.
Now with the help of your hands, add the pakodas one by one to the oil and fry till they become golden brown.
Now take out all the pakodas in a plate covered with kitchen paper.
Finally add urad dal and pakodas/vadas are ready. Serve them hot with green chutney, sweet chutney or tomato ketchup.
