Ingredients:

2-3 boiled potatoes

2-3 whole dried Kashmiri red chilies

2-3 green chillies chopped 

1 bay leaf

1-inch grated ginger

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

A pinch of asafoetida

A few curry leaves

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon red chili powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/4 teaspoon garam masala

Salt to taste

Chopped coriander leaves

1-2 tablespoons oil

1/4 cup yogurt


  Dahi Wale Aloo 


Instructions:

First, peel the boiled potatoes and cut them into pieces.

Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, bay leaves, and asafoetida and let them crackle. Add curry leaves, whole dried Kashmiri red chilies, and green chilies, and fry. Add grated ginger.

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala to the yogurt and mix until well combined.

Add the chopped potatoes and mix well. Add the yogurt mixture. Mix everything thoroughly. Add water if needed. Add salt to taste.

Cover and cook for 2 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Finally, the Dahi Wale Aloo (Yogurt Potatoes Curry) are ready to serve. You can eat them with puris, rotis, or parathas. You can also make them for lunch or dinner.
