Apply a little oil/ghee to your hands and form small balls.
Heat the appe pan. Apply a little oil/ghee to it. Add the prepared balls one by one, cover, and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
Turn each ball over, cover, and cook for another 5 minutes, until all the balls are golden brown.
Remove all the balls and place them on a plate. The Farali appe is ready. Now it's time to make the Peanut Curry to accompany it.
To do this, roast the peanuts thoroughly in a pan, let them cool, and then coarsely grind them.
Heat the same pan with oil/ghee. Add cumin seeds and curry leaves and let them crackle.
Next, add the peanut paste and stir. Cook over low heat for a minute.
Now, whisk half a cup of yogurt and one cup of water in a bowl and pour it into the pan. Mix everything well. You can also use buttermilk instead of yogurt or water.
