Instructions

Chill your glass. Place the serving glass in the freezer 10–15 minutes before serving—this helps keep the malt cold and thick for longer.

Prepare the coffee. If you are using instant coffee, dissolve it in a small amount of hot water and allow it to cool completely in the fridge or freezer before use. Never add anything hot—this will melt the ice cream.

Blend the liquids first. Add the cold coffee, milk, malted milk powder, cocoa powder (or chocolate syrup), vanilla, and salt to the blender. Blend briefly until combined.
