Ingredients:

 2 medium-sized sweet potatoes

 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)

 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

 1/3 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

 8-10 cashews (broken)

 8-10 almonds (chopped)

 8-10 raisins

 A pinch of saffron strands (optional)


 Tasty & Healthy Sweet Potato Halwa Recipe 



Instructions:

1. Wash the sweet potatoes and boil them until soft (about 15-20 minutes). Let them cool, peel them, and mash them well.

2. Heat ghee in a pan. Add the cashews, almonds, and raisins. Fry until golden and remove for garnish. 3. Add mashed sweet potatoes to the same pan. Fry over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.

4. Add milk and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly.

5. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well until the sugar dissolves and the pudding thickens (about 5 minutes).

6. Add saffron, if using. Cook for 2 more minutes.

7. Garnish with fried cashews, almonds, and raisins.

8. Serve hot or at room temperature.
